analeigh tipton biography & latest images

Analeigh Christian Tipton is an American figure skater, actress and fashion model, most noted for placing third on Cycle 11 of America’s Next Top Model.

Analeigh Tipton was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, relocated with her family to Sacramento, California when she was eight years old. Analeigh attended New York Film Academy’s Film School program at Universal Studios, Los Angeles and is currently studying film at Marymount College in Palos Verdes, California.

Analeigh was a supporter of the Invisible Children. She also participated in the Global Night Commute in the Cesar Chavez Park.

Before her appearance on America’s Next Top Model, Analeigh was a competitive figure skater. She began skating at the age of two and a half and trained most of her childhood. She competed in four U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships total. Later, she and her pair partner, Phillip Cooke, became two-time regional champions, and competed at the U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships twice on the Juvenile level. She retired from competitive skating at sixteen, but continued to skate in charity ice shows for AIDS foundations.

Analeigh once encountered sex traffickers posing as modeling agents. She told the judges of America’s Next Top Model that these traffickers told her she should model but kept delaying the start of the “modeling agency.” She was sold to a Saudi Arabian prince, but realized what was going on and got out of danger before the deal was finalized.

Prior to America’s Next Top Model, Analeigh had posed for photographers Shaun Pfeipher and Robert Dahey, and modeled for a mock Grazia Magazine ad campaign, produced by Alejandra Garibay. Analeigh was signed to I Model and Talent in Los Angeles and walked in Los Angeles Fashion Week Fall 2008 for designer, Kelly Nishimoto for her Fall 2008 collection, Imasu.

Analeigh placed third on Cycle 11 of America’s Next Top Model. She was recruited through Myspace and was asked to audition in Los Angeles. After landing in the bottom two in the episode “You’re Beautiful, Now Change” for not using her ice-skating moves to her advantage, she rebounded and appeared in the top three for seven consecutive weeks. Analeigh was called first twice, one for the first CoverGirl commercial, which Tyra Banks deemed “the best CoverGirl commercial in the history of America’s Next Top Model.” She also won the go-sees challenge by booking all three of her go-sees. She left and arrived on time. In a challenge won by Elina Ivanova, Elina shared her prize with Marjorie Conrad and Analeigh; they appeared alongside each other in the December 2008/January 2009 issue of Seventeen magazine. She was subsequently eliminated in the finale after forgetting her lines in the second CoverGirl commercial, which left Samantha Potter and McKey Sullivan to walk in the finale runway show.

Analeigh and Samantha Potter appeared as guest stars on the television series The Big Bang Theory, in the episode “The Panty Piñata Polarization.” She’s worked with many local photographers, and has also done catalog work for Forever 21.

She also walked for Skingraft and David Alexander for the S/S 2010 season For Los Angeles Fashion.

Analeigh posed for Campus Girls USA Calendar and is featured in the ‘Girls of Pac 10 Conference’ calendar. The calendar raises funds for Breast Cancer Research and features college girls from across the nation from all different conferences.

Analeigh is currently signed with Ford Models in Los Angeles and Abrams Artists Agency, in both the commercial and theatrical divisions.
